COMPUTEX 2023

Nvidia's latest keynote at the COMPUTEX 2023, in Taipei, Taiwan dropped a lot of new, innovative technology. This blog will explore these new installations. First, this is the newest speech from Gensen Haung (Nvidia CEO), since 2019. A lot of AI and machine learning emerged and Nvidia talked about how they implement this into their products. Especially graphics cards. Artificial Intelligence can predict the 7 color pixels for 1 given. This means that the ray-tracing will be quite advanced. Next, a new application called Nvidia ACE was released. What this application does, is creates the avatar's backstory a lot faster by using neural networks. What this means is that based on your input the NPC will give you a response. If you say, “I am sad.” the model will comfort you back. Finally, their newest CPU called Hopper HGX H100, is the most powerful CPU they have ever released using generative AI to power it. It does cost 300,000 dollars though. Those were the three main drops from the keynote.
